Default Vertical Door Kits (VDI) Group Buy Prices

Hello 300z,
One thing I like to do is constantly run a GB on vertical doors. I need three to get the price break and six to get a better price at any given time. They are from Vertical Doors Incorporated, who is only one of two companies I will even sell or install. The installation is easy and to save some bucks I can provide you with the necessary info that should allow you the knowledge to do this mod yourself.

Pricing is $985 shipped for the kit. I am actually purchasing six kits on Monday so they will be ready to ship as soon as payment has been received.

I understand that some vertical door companies have a bad name. I stand behind VDI kits and thier warranty. These are not the cheapo Ebay kits that will wiggle and shimmy. They bolt right on and there is only a few small cuts that will need to be made to the inside fender mounts. I have sold over 40 of these kits and installed atleast half of them with no issues.

As always, please contact Karlito or myself with questions or concerns.

Thanks,
Ken

can you post pics of the hinges, and the swing out before the door swings up. I want to do this, just need a little convincing evidence.

The opening width looks pretty good to me. That's about as far as I'd want the door to open otherwise it tends to hit things.

The hinges look pretty sturdy, though I've never seen other kits in person really to compare them too.

The hinges weigh 18lbs each. They are very hefty!

Durable and built!

Good luck on the group buy. I would like to see some others in person sometime to compare to also. Will these allow the fender mounts to stay or do you have to remove the two in the hinge area. With My kit I had to remove both mounts and roll fender in two spots. I also had to remove weather stripping on door edge. Just curious to the difference. If Mine ever do break or something happen I will upgrade. I have had no issue as of now. Knock on wood.

the door weather stripping does come off, and the upper fender mount does as well. The instructions actually call for both mounts to be removed, but what the instructions don't tell you is that the hinges come predrilled for re-installing the lower mount.

VERY good quality kit, I have this installed on my mag, bought from ken!
