Talking 3.5 Altima VS 5.7 Hemi
1st I wan to thx my buddies Mulehouse and Cibalo for the tips and how to my launch my car... So finally the day came! After painting thd tailights I headed to my friend house. He has a Nissan Altima V6 3.5 modded, he has catback, headers, cai, injectors and few extra.. I was with my other friend (he was ridding with me) ans we started to mess with the Altima.. After an hour 15min of trash talk he accepted to race me..
He headed to a nearby, beautifully paved straight road and got it on!
To b honest I was a bit unsecure... I heard his car and it opens so hard that I thought this race must be interesting... We got parked each side by side and I followed the tips I had received. I hold one to the brakes and rev my car to 1500rpm (definetly he wanted to move at aprox 1000-1100) when the #3 came up, I let of the brakes hitting the gas to quickly and did a nice burnout lol, he jumped and started with 1/2 car in front of me, as my car got grip and change to 2nd I was 3/4 in front of him.. 3rd gear I kept winning more length and finished roughly with two cars ahead of him...

The 2nd run was a different story, I hold the brakes, brought him up to 1500 and this time I had a much better launch! I instantly started with 1/2 car ahead of him, kept rushing foward and finsh the race with almost 4 cars ahead of him...

He told me "damn that grandpa's car..."
I replied "you just got served..BTW how does my new painted tail lights look? Lol

thx to for the racing tips, glad to bring that kill home!

I am glad you smacked that guy around....man I was hoping you didnt say he beat you!! Those 3.5 Altimas are pretty quick for sure...I went up against my co-worker a while back from a roll...I was suprised by the quickness he showed ...right before I gutted him. He had no idea what he was up against...thought he was beside a big old stupid load of a car.....

thx! I was surprised too... They are pretty quick! I was in this 50/50 mentality which killed my 1st launch... My car twisted so mean that I had to take out my foot from the gas, then applied again and then beat him.. Thx for the coaching!!

You should still beat a 350z without much trouble either....guy with a newer one at the track every week I have been there and he is always .6 - .8 behind me in et. I have never been able to line up against him because he is in the street stick class. No fear from a 350Z....bahhh
