Check to see if you have the Sirius receiver module (Delphi tagged) on the left side of your trunk behind the trunk carpet. If it's there, you are good to go. All you need do is call Sirius.

Huh...I haven't paid a penny for Sirius? I don't know how long the 1st owner of my ride subscribed for, or how long my free run will last...but here's a big :smileup: to him. Thanks...lol.
Yea, before you do pay for anything (receiver, antenna, service, etc...), you might wanna wait a few months to see if they're still goin to be around! I'd hate to see you pay for somethig that won't be around shortly...
On this topic, I bought my 08 used, and the sirius subscription was supposed to have already expired. Needless to say its still going strong but I would like to know how long it will keep working for. A friend of mine says if the radio was powered off for a couple weeks when the subscription expired that it may never shut off, and I know the battery was unhooked for about 1-2 months before the car was turned back in to the dealership, but that sounds a little fishy to me.
Is there any way to check without the risk of them shutting me off? I mean the subscription is supposed to go with the owner, not the car, right?

I would leave well enough alone until its shuts off ....Who knows he could have bought a lifetime subscription...
When you call Sirius Customer they ask for your phone number to get started ..If they figure out you are not the person that originally turned it on they will charge you a transfer fee...
I suppose so, it would just be nice to know whats coming. I thought there may have been a simple way.
just an FYI anyone who has a ram, charger, 300, cherokee from 05-07 you can use there sirius tuner and wiring. I know the dealer may disagree but i bought the whole setup off ebay for a cherokee knowing the plugs are all the same and we share the same radio's it plugged in perfect and worked like a charm. Even had 4 months free on it which was nice.

Sirrus bills my credit card every year. I don't recall getting a notification so in the case of transfer of ownership if the previous owner does not monitor his credit card line items he could go on paying it for ????
Just thought I'd post back. Mine expired at 8:45 this morning... now I just get a message to call them to subscribe 
Terrestrial radio is so boring now that I've had the good stuff, but holy cow is it expensive to keep the satellite radio! $165/year and who knows if they will still be in business at the end of the year..... think I'll be buying the uconnect bits and using my iPhone in the car instead. Cheaper than 2 years of service and should last much longer (heck, even if my iPhone breaks I can still get a cheap iPod just for the car...)

Hi all. I have a subscription to Sirius. I have a Mygig installled in my 06. All was working fine until about a week or so ago. Now all I get is a message stating call Sirius for a subscription. I have call them twice. Both times they have tried to send
an activation signal, but neither have worked. Anyone had this problem? Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?
