Help My car started this morning then chugged out. I added some fuel and it sounds like the fuel pump is coming on. is there a fuel reset or any way it could be frozen up? It was-2 last night and the car will run fine if you put fuel in the intake hose? Thanks for any replies gang

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem if you aren't getting it to run without pouring fuel down the intake. How much fuel did you add to the tank? Did to attempt to prime the fuel pump by turning the key from acc to on waiting five seconds then repeating several times? I have found in my experience of running vehicles out of fuel that usually 5 gallons will get it started but it sometimes is hard for the fuel pump to push. Also, did you add new fuel or something you had laying around?
