so here's the deal..im selling mine..well anyway question is this...the antenna that seems glued on the top rear of the car..is that the Sat Radio antenna or the radio antenna..or is the SAt antenna inside behind the radio seperately?

That is the ant, and it is not glued on. there is a 10mm nut underneth that you can see if you lower the h/liner. It use's a three legged spreader just like the ones you would find for drywall anchors

thats okay they do make an aftermarket antenna if your not including yours.

that is the sirius antenna...not the FM...and the tuner module is mounted in the trunk...you could leave the antenna but remove the tuner if you are planning on upgrading to mygig which has the sat tuner built in.

the tuner module for the Sirius? where in the trunk? i got the kenwood 8019..i dont plan on keeping the Sirius..but if i can connect it to the kenwood then i will

hmmmm...if I remember correctly from other people it is mounted on the left side, on the side behind the carpet...

so i assume the wiring leads all under the carpet to the radio? if so also too much work to take out

you could remove and sell the tuner alone on ebay for a few bucks...people do buy them...just a little extra pocket cash

Willy is right...if you have 07 or older the fm antenna is inside the rear glass
