Hi guys,
My first question as newbie. . .
I have ordered new badges at billet techn. For the trunk and the grill. My question is how to remove the original chrysler badges...
Do i have to remove the interior of my trunk?
And how about the front badge on my `honeybee grill`?

thanx

i looked everywhere for that damn how to on removing the front and rear center emblems from the wings and couldnt find them anywhere so here is how you should go about doing this...

the easiest method to do this is to take a screw and screw that into the center of the emblems but only do it if you dont care about ruining your oem emblem cause it will destroy it. also make sure you dont screw it in too deep or you might damage the wing or grill itself but once the screw is in...get some pliers and then pull that sucker out...its easier if you spray wd-40 or heat the center wing emblem with a heat gun or hair dryer first so the glue on the back loosens up allowing you to pry it out easier...same thing goes for the rear trunk one as well...im sure i saw another method of doing this without damaging the emblems but too bad but i cant find them any where though...

im sure someone else can find them cause i just couldnt find anything :i_rolleyes:

They are both held on with 3M double stick tape. Fishing line and goo-gone with a little heat should get them off.

The Chrysler medallions on in the wings should be glued in from the factory. If you want to remove the whole trunk wing itself, it's mounted with double sided sticky tape and two bolts that you have to undo from the underneath of the trunk lid. But if you're just talking about the medallions in the wings, you'll have to pry those puppies out as they are cemented in from the factory with adhesive.

Todd, the rear trunk wing is also held with factory equivalent of 3M tape only. I thought there were bolts behind it but found out there aren't any. The medallions on both the front and back are held on with the factory equivalent of 3M tape only.

Ya, both held on with 3M double sided foam tape. The rear wing has two nubs that stick out to go into alignment holes in the trunk itself, just to make sure the wing is centered perfectly on all cars.

That's why a lot of people who demold/debadge, me included, don't take the wing off.
