ok, so i'm looking for a replacement horn. i don't want anything to extreme like the train horns or anything, but something that really screams %^&* you! for those times you really wish they could hear you lol i saw some that say they're pretty loud at canadian tire, but without hearing it i wouldn't wanna waste the time or money on it. not looking for anything too expensive, but loud and non-import-sounding are preferred. i know i can't be the only one who's wanted to do this, so let me know what you got, how you like it, how much, and most importantly where to get it!

also, if you can find links with sound clips that would be a big help too! thanks!

I don't have sound clips or anything like that, but I can tell you what I did on my truck. I was running some air horns that I picked up, but the compressor went out on it. I went to the local junk yard and found an old caddy and pulled the horns off of it. They were loud and deep rather than high pitched. I want to say I picked them up for less than $15, but that was several years ago.

if you really want your horn to scream F@$% you when you use, then you should get a P.A. and install it in your car so you can really yell at them. i got a CB in my Jeep with a PA function, i am just waiting for some extra money to buy the PA speaker and install it under the hood. :D

haha that's jokes! not sure i wanna o that far, but it'd be nice to see them jump in their seat a bit. i'm thinking an air horn might be the right way to go for me. gotta find something loud but with some bass.

lol see that's the thing i want something with some bass in it, but i don't wanna be giving old ladies heart attacks with a train horn either lol

It was a 70's caddy. You could get a small battery and go around testing them.
That's a great idea! I hadn't thought of that.
I have a couple of places that will let me walk through the yard. I'm going to try this the next time the wife isn't watching what I'm doing. :4-dontknow:
