oh for the navigation - maybe re-installing will work? you can try this, but you need to get a nav disk first and that might be an issue as it is $200 on the net but some members might have it. i am also in the process of awaiting mine to be burn from a member (on a different forum).

This is the comment from the other forum about re-installing the disk

you can force a reinstall of any disk. ive had to do this on mine.

1) Put your keys to the 'On' position, to make sure the navigation doesn't lose power during the process.
2) Remove disc and insert navigation disc that you want the unit to download.
3) Start with your radio on any AM station, then press the nav button so you're on the navigation screen.
4) Next, press the following sequence of buttons: AM/FM twice, followed by NAV, then while holding preset 2 and 6 press cancel. This will take you to a diagnostics screen.
5) Once you are in the diagnostics scroll down to "Unit Check" press enter, "Debug" press enter, "Force Download" press enter. (Note: Don't mess around with other stuff in the diagnostics menu, or do so at your own risk.)

#4 is tricky, might take a few times, but dont HOLD the NAV button, thats one thing i kept doing lol.

Welcome to our forum, my fellow Canadian, greetings from Toronto!
Congratulations on the 300!

For fuel efficiency, sometimes it depends on how you drive :)
Ensure your tire pressure is correct, you could add those fuel injection cleaners like Lucas. Some guys see improvement with CAI, and even having a device called "Predator" from Diablosport.

Have fun modding it!
