Hello. I am new here and have a question for a friend. She is in her 70s so doesn't really want to join a forum.
The radio in her 2005 300 screen went black, then the antenna module went out. I replaced the radio with a Jensen aftermarket and wired the speakers directly. And added an aftermarket antenna.
The radio works and sounds great. The problem is; when I start the car and turn the radio on all of the dash lights come on, and I lose turn signals, and the speedo and tach stops working. When I turn the radio off everything returns to normal. I am assuming this is an issue with the security system. Can someone tell me what I need to do to override the system so she can listen to music?
