The 07 I bought my wife for Xmas has been showing a constant check engine light with a P2017 code, it has been running fine so I ignored it.

last night I removed both of the air control valve actuators, both were gummed up and sticky with a thin layer of blowby from the PCV system. I cleaned both actuators with carb cleaner and lubricated the motors with penetrating oil. I also cleaned the area where the passenger side flapper operates and cleaned and lubricated the short runner valve in the intake on the drivers side. I immediately noticed much crisper acceleration and throttle response and the codes dropped. I would suggest inspecting those on your own cars since it is very easily accessible. I plan on checking out the ones on my 06, I am not having any issues but it is probably exposed to blowby as well.
