My short story on my 300C Hemi. Went to the store and didn't punch it or jump on it or nothing, good boy driving. Got to the store and turned off the key, nothing unusual. Came back out and that's when nothing or everything happened. She didn't start and then when she tried to start it reved up to like 5k and then dropped to zero. Towed to dealer and troubleshooting began. They said that the computer spit out error codes for 3 bad coils and multiple misfires. So I said do it and 30 minutes later he called back and said that they pulled number one spark plugs and took a peek with their new fiber optic camera. Well, big ole hole in the top of number one piston. Well, new engine later and I'm back on the road. My son had looked on the Internet and said that he found that the control module probably messed up providing incorrect fuel/air mixture which caused a super hot spot on the piston and burning a hole in the piston.
Just wanted to tell someone.
Dave
