    Hi all,

Fairly new to this board, and did a quick search here and youtube, but didn't come up with a lot of good data (I could have just missed it, so if I did, Mods please point me to the right area and feel free to lock this thread).

I pick up a 2013 300 touring edition this week. I've always done some mods to my cars, but I want to keep it minimal for now with this. I do want it a bit louder with a bit less back pressure. Wondering what people are doing and how it sounds. Was looking so far at:

    - Flowmaster super 44 muffler w/resonators still intact
    - Magnaflow high-flow muffler w/resonators intact
    - Magnaflow high-flow muffler w/o resonators

Wondering what other people are running for their setups since this edition isn't a true dial like the S edition?

Also wondering what intakes people are using? These are really the only two changes I want to make to the car, so I'm simply looking for feedback from the "been there, done that" crowd :)

    Thanks in advance!

OK. Quick update. I had the resonators deleted this week. Sounds great - not too loud. I am possibly looking for a slightly deeper tone though. I've purchased a magnaflow bolt-in muffler to replace stock. Wondering if anyone has gone that route, and if they've experienced any negative effects? My only concern with no resonators and a high flow is possible drone, so I'm looking to see if anyone has an experience they can share? Thanks!

I have a Big Bully CAI on my 06 touring and I love it! I don't have any experience on the mufflers tho mines currently stock.

Thanks! Sorry for the delayed reply. I thought I had locked my account - turns out I was trying to log into a different forum and had no idea lol.

I did the resonator delete 2 weeks ago, then last week installed the Magnaflow muffler built for the single in/single out both offset (bolts right into the stock muffler spot with no welding). Also installed the AirAid CAI and I'm in love. Only thing I think I'll add is possibly 2 resonated magnaflow tips to deepen the tone coming out of the rear a little more, but I'll wait another month and see if this settles any more.

I got the Injen CAI on my 2014 300S and it has a great sound to it. Looking to do the exhaust next! Also looking to get a tune so it shifts smoother...

Very nice! What kind of tune are you looking for? Aside from changing the headlight bulbs (why they went with basic halogens in the projectors with the beautiful LED trim is beyond me), a tune may be the only other thing I look at for my 300

I have been looking at a delete but tossing around the idea of a diablo to tune for the cai and higher fuel rating... I might drop it a little but not sure about it.

Nice. I had a Unichip tune on my dart before this. Not sure if I want to go back into the tuning world again, but time will tell. Won't be this year but maybe something to look at for next summer

How does it sound with magnaflow muffler, did the resonator delete and left the suitcase muffler I like it but too much drone. Did the magnaflow drone less than stock muffler?
