I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited that is low on antifreeze. I’m not sure what kind is in it other than it is a reddish looking color. I green 50/50 but I’m trying to get a red one. My question is does it matter if I mix antifreezes?

It sure does. Your car calls for HOAT coolant. The color doesn't matter much, as both types come in various colors.

The problem is that, unless you are 100% certain of the car's service history, someone could have mixed it with OAT (or even something else) in the past.

Your best bet is to drain and flush with distilled water, then refill with a 50/50 mix of a good HOAT coolant like Motorcraft Gold, Zerex G05, or Peak Global Lifetime and distilled water.
