I used to have the same problem. Went with an HID Relay Harness kit from some cheap vendor on eBay. After hours of confusion when it was directly connected to the battery, I realized I had to reverse the polarity of the wiring (simply said, reverse the connector to the lights. It's not a difficult installation at all, although it might look that way when the instructions show you a huge layout of wires everywhere!

You'll be fine though. The main wire (twice as thick as the wires going to the lights) connects to the battery, a skinny black wire will be ground (any bolt that connects to metal frame of your car), one wire to the capacitor (included), and the two wires to each light, and one wire to the OEM light wire (that connects to the switch on your dash).
