2007 300 Touring. Alarm was an option that year. Is there any EASY way to find if I HAVE an alarm? Might just not be working, Security light not on and no alarm sounds.

Put your windows down and lock it with your fob. Wait a few seconds and then reach in the window and open the door using the INTERIOR door handle, while its still locked.

    Should start beeping if alarmed.

Key in the ignition to accessory will shut it off.

I tried that, and everything else. No alarm sound. But when I turn the key to Start, the Red Security Light comes on on the dash, along with all the other icons, check engine, etc. Why would that Alarm Security Light come on if I had no Alarm?

I suspect I MAY have an alarm but it's not working. Any other way to find out if that's the case and I DO have an alarm?

Emailed FCA and Dealer. FCA didn't know and Dealer was baffled. What I'm getting is, "Might have Alarm", "Might not", "Not sure", "Maybe".

Sounds like no one "Really Knows" how to tell if I have a Factory Alarm System. Good Help is really hard to find these days. LOL

I got a complete build sheet from FCA. I just emailed them my vin...not sure why they are being difficult. If it's a low option car, it's possible that ALL of them have the blinky light, and some sort of ignition deterent, but not the horned alaram.

What's a "Build Sheet" ? Maybe it's something I should ask them for.

It's just what's implied. Basically a breakdown of every option your vehicle has. And every spec it was assembled with. Rear gears, type of stereo, original tires, literally everything. Similar to a window sticker but more in depth. Also called a broadcast sheet sometimes.

Hey Johnnymac2k6, I got a Build Sheet. Thank You for your help. No mention of alarm on sheet so I guess I don't have that option.

    Thanks Again!!!!!!!!!!
