I was once like your Mulehouse and then I started reading the forums, looking at mods members were doing, and joining an LX car club and it just kind of exploded. Ideas come from what others are doing or things you'd like to change about your car and you just figure out how to make it happen. I use to just want to change out the grill on the car and add some tint, lol

We learn from each other here and local members. What's cool is that local members are all willing to pitch in and help.

We got a cool project getting started here next weekend. We are pulling the stock 6.1L out of a B5 Blue Charger SRT8 and stripping it down. Then, the block goes to a machine shop for a little cylinder boring work. When it comes back, we'll put it all back together. Looks like there will be another 426 terrorizing the streets here soon.

My point is that it's all about reading, asking questions and having a willingness to take it on.

Dale, that will never happen. Once you finish what you have in mind to do, something else pops up. Like the proverbial, "there will always be someone faster" in the elusive chase for more horsepower.

Case in point, I just bought an 85mm throttle body, come to find out, they really aren't all they are cracked up to be. Now I find out that a 100mm would have given me more horses in the long run. Go figure!!
