2008 chrysler 300 touring was running rough. Did oil change, new battery, all spark plugs, new coils and it wants to start but won't. What could it be if it was just running and I drove to work? Help a girl. I'm beyond frustrated. Just replacing auto shutdown relay fuse. Idk what else to do. Code PO688 and a few others

I would check for fuel although our cars are difficult to get a gauge in the fuel line. Check the fuel pump relay and fuse.

What are the accompanying codes?
Did you confirm your battery and connections were in good working order?
Fuses?
Relays?

When EFI first appeared, the manufacturers installed 'inertia switches' to shut off the electric fuel pump in case of an accident/overturned vehicle. Usually located somewhere in the trunk or in the same kick panel where the fuses are located. A weak battery can also cause similar symptoms, depending on where the power priority is allocated. I had a 1998 Mustang 4.6L that would turn over but not activate the EEC. Load test confirmed the battery had seen better days. Mustang lit off immediately with a new battery.

Update: Not familiar with Mopar inertia switches but the ones I dealt with previously had reset buttons on the switch. On older cars back in the day, the switches would kick out for unknown reasons. Depress the reset button and away you go.
