I’ve never noticed oil here before all the times I’ve had cover off until today. I did have oil changed about a month ago. It’s only on drivers side dry on passenger side. No warning lights, no shaking, no leaks on garage floor or driveway. Could it just be from oil tech spilling it or is this a sign of something? It’s right under fuel injection rail but it’s oil not gas. Any help is appreciated.

Just removed air filter and it’s soaked with oil and box has a good amount of oil at bottom right where the hose that goes from just below the oil cap into air box sits. Also looks like a spill mark on that side of engine head that’s been wiped up or dried. So now I’m thinking they poured in oil too fast and got it everywhere. PCV makes noise when I shake it so the valve works, no excessive smoke or noticeable performance issues so probably not piston rings and this car has been properly maintained all it’s life so I doubt it’s passage issues.
