We have a 2003 300M we have changed the resivoir and T-Stat and it is still running hot, the fans are working. We don't know what else to do. Can anyone give us a idea of what it could be? We just got done changing the T-Stat and took it for a test drive and it went up to the red again. Thank You

Is the water circulating in the radiator. If not the water pump could be out or the radiator could be clogged . Are the Hoses in good shape ( not Soft ) if they are soft they might be collapsing under pressure and stopping the water from circulating. Is the Belt to to water pump slipping. If all these are OK, then I would suspect an air lock inside the engine.
