I own a 2005 Chrysler 300C with a REC Radio/Navigation unit in it which has AM/FM, 6CD, navigation, U-connect and SIRIUS radio. I am replacing it with a newer RER touchscreen navigation unit (I am using an after-market lockpick adapter unit which will allow the conversion). My problem/question is that that there are input adapters in the back for the GPS antenna, radio antenna and SIRIUS satellite radio antenna. #1, I believe I know the correct wire that was for the GPS antenna, but it has a square connector on the end and the input on the new unit is round, how do I convert that/where do I find an adapter. #2 I don't see where the SIRIUS antenna was connected to the old unit. How was the antenna being supplied to that old REC unit and now get to the new unit? The old unit only had a black antenna that I believe was for the AM/FM radio, the square GPS antenna connector, the large connector to the vehicle, and another small square one that I believe was for the u-connect/microphone.
Can anyone please help with info? Thanks.

1. You should not have to do any splicing to the GPS antenna. It should just plug into the back of the RER headunit. Also, you are never ever supposed to cut or modify a GPS antenna wire.

2. I'm pretty sure the old Sirius hardware is not compatible with the RER headunit. You need to buy some other modules and antennas specific to the RER to make it work properly, but I"m not completely sure. I know you can get Sirius to work though.
