I have a 2014 Chrysler 300S I bought new, it has a tad under 30,000 miles on it. I was at the Dealer (who I bought it from) for it's 30K Mile Maintenance. The Service Adviser came over to me with a list of "Recommended Preventative Maintenance" items that he wanted me to do today. They were: Replace Brake Fluid; Cost $110. This was Recommended to avoid getting water in the Brake Fluid. I live in the Sonoran Desert, lucky if we get 3" of rain a year. Replace Rear End Differential Fluid; Cost $129. Even though I commented on Chryslers schedule to "Check" it at 60K Miles, he send it was "Preventative". And Last ... a 3 Step Fuel System Cleaning; Cost $250. Again a "Preventative" measure. The car runs fine, there is no skip or vibration from the engine. I questioned these "Preventative Measures" and all I got was that this was recommended by the Dealer. Are these items a common Maintenance item for a 2014 Chrysler with 30K miles on it ?? Thanks, Richard S.
