Your book says "recommended"?? That is what I want the book to say... the posts above say the book says "ONLY".



I have a 300C now... I'm looking to upgrade. They won't go for anything creative like me paying extra. The pumps at all the stations pump 89, they want us using that.



Thanks... I think my car is in more tourist photo albums than The sunset here.

If you are only going to be able to put 89 octane in it you might be better off running a C...you won't get all the performance out of the SRT...as the knock sensors etc. will retard the timing etc. and decrease the power. Honestly it sounds like you might be better off with a SRT Design group C.

Well I was planning on adding an octane booster at every fill-up... good/bad plan?
It will work...but that is kind of an expensive alternative don't you think? Maybe octane booster is cheaper by you...but here it is close to 18 bucks a bottle...are you prepared for that kind of cost?
