New member here, ran across some issues with my 07 Hemi 300c , before I ever touched the car would drive pretty okay until I noticed a shake when I would come down to a stop , almost as if the throttle body butteryfly was shaking or struggling to close and causing the engine to fight itself (choking out). Occasionally the car would shake at a stop almost as if it had a vacum leak when I had the car in Drive Until at a red light the car stalled out on me , it turned right back on and had no cel light nor codes at the time , I just wanted to get home so I drove it like that, I inspected it to make sure sure nothing obvious was present , after I opened my air intake I decided to clean the throttle body , disconnected the battery and removed it , I used maf sensor cleaner to make sure I wouldnt damage the electronics ,Even went as far as removing the butterfly out of the TB and cleaning everything with a toothbrush and some steel wool (it was really gunked up) , once cleaned up and put back together I put it back on the car and I got the codes p0171,and p0174 figured cause of all the air it can actually breathe in, but then the rpms wouldnt go back down from 1,000 , I tried relearning the throttle pedal, removing fuse 11, and nothing. Car will idle at 1,000rpms and when the Etc,esp, and traction light comes on the rpms shoot up to 1200 even 1500 at times. After messing with the car some more I did try inspecting and removing the egr tube and noticed the rubber gasket into the manifold is slightly torn but I put it in back that way, that is when I got p0507 for high idle , any help would be appreciated….

Did you ever fix it?
I’m going through something similar
I’ve changed the throttle body, sparkplugs, oil pressure sensor, gas pump and filter, new battery, also replaced the pvc valve and cam shaft but when I did the camshaft it worked for 10 min then after I turned it off it wouldn’t start so I put back the original camshaft and its back running but still with this weird hesitation and shuts off randomly so I doesn’t let me trouble shoot. checked for vacuum leaks and waiting on a new camshaft but from mopar also getting the egr
Anything you suggest I should check
Thanks

I'd start by getting a new egr tube seal, since they are notoriously problematic and could easily trigger the P0171/174 as well as the P0507, especially since you mentioned it was cracked. Make sure you put the new one on the correct way and set it to the correct placement on the egr tube. There's lots of ways to put it on wrong, and I believe I've tried em all. Buy 2 tube seals, since they are less than $5 and could be the difference between your car going into full limp mode with the infamous red lightning bolt illuminating on your dash.
