I replaced my 17' rims with 18' aftermarket rims and new 225/60/18 tires. After driving the car for about 30-45 minutes the TPM light started flashing. Eventually it stopped flashing and went solid. Did a visual inspection on the tires and they all seem fine. Any ideas ? Obviously something to do with the new rims/tires. Car is a 2008 touring RWD

Did you put new TPMS sensors in the new wheels?
I believe so. Brought the rims, tires and new lug nuts. He said I needed something else that was $15 each ( spanish guy with thick accent.) I assume this was the TPMS sensors but I will call and confirm

$15 seems cheap for a sensor, usually 2 or 3 times that much or that could be the problem (not a good one). They should be able to scan & make sure everything is working properly.
