Widest possible

I have a 2011 300c AWD OEM 235/55R19 ---- whats the widest front tire that my car will accommodate ?
I am looking at a set of Blizzaks for next Winter that are 255/60 R19 & my local tire Guy is telling me that they may be too wide for my front end ??

WOW great thread thx so much for it!!

I currently have 225/60r18 BFG Advantage T/As and I believe they are the reason my car has a terrible ride quality. I just replaced the shocks and most of the front suspension at 86,000 miles and the ride quality is no better. My last car had Michelins on it and I was very happy with them, so now I'm looking at the Primacy MXV4s. Does anyone have experience with those tires and if not what do you currently run for all season touring tires?

I don't drive my car very much now so I don't need high performance rubber. I'm looking for a soft-riding, quiet tire that gets really good mileage.

anyone upgrade from 17" base rims to 20"-22" rims on the 2011-2014? i have a 13 and was wondering if the tire preseure gauge will reset by itself or if a dealer must set the preasures. also any rims that would look good on it? thanks

Hi. Just got a 2012 5.7L HEMI V-8 300C with stock 20" rims. Awesome car!
Question: I live in very rural Northern CT and we get quite a bit of snow in our long winters and I live in the deep deep woods. I plan on getting snow tires on separate rims for this car very soon before the fall rush. Tire rack has a "package deal" for my car. Is this any good? Can I go from 20" rims to these 18" rims? Im concerned about rubbing on caliper and wheel well.

Im new so pls bear with me, I need to replace tires. I have a 2014 300c 5.7. I dont know my wheel size but it has 225/60-18's on it. I would like to go a little wider and just a little lower, like a 245/50-18. How will this affect the ride of the car? Will it be bumpier since its not as tall, will it sway more side to side because of the increased width?

Great job!

Here's my adds for 20" SRT-8 tires:

Toyo Proxes 4 (car tires - Proxes ST are truck tires)
Sizes: 245 45R 20 Front, 275 45R20 Rear (both are same overall diameter). Or...
255 45R 20 front and rear.

The identical sizes work with the Nitto Invo, and in fact the tires are made in the same factory and the parent company is the same.

SNOW:

Pirelli Snow & Ice - 255 45R20. I've used mine for two full winters already, and they look like they'll last 4 more winters. That would be about 30,000 total miles over 6 winters. A bargain!
What's stock rim width and offset on 300 srt8 20s

I noticed for stock 18 inch wheels the list did not contain a 245/50 18 just 245/55/18 and 245 45/18s. Would there be a problem with 245/50/18s to fit on stock 18" wheels?

I have look on tirerack.com and on my web site tool. 245 can be made to fit 7.5, You should make sure before buying Most 450 tire I saw are for 8.5 rim

But on a side not when I had my old car I had winter tire 185 and I put summer tire that where 235 on the same rims.
Best bet would be to go talk with a real mechanic in store. Or phone

Decided to go with 225/60/18s (stock) BF Goodrich Advantage T/A's on front and 245/55/18s on rear. Will there be any problems with wider tire in rear?

Late reply, They should be closer to the syspension but should not touch. But do verify they don't, if you don't have enough clearance, you can always install a spacer and give them a extra 1/2 inch.
