ha ha... i have the 5.7 and just drive the hell out of it. I mean whats 2-3 mpg anyway. I dont even drive in automatic anymore. Manual is way more fun !!

i saw this car in like, 2005 and always wanted it sense.
when i got my income tax return, needed a car and had 5k cash, i didnt do ANY research, didnt even think twice.

Then get an intake, exhaust and a diablo tuner. That's going to net you the best MPG possible if you can keep your foot outta the skinny pedal.

A little bit more power, better drivability and better throttle response. But yes.... you will gain a couple MPG's. Nothing major though.

 

Your right foot will save you the most MPH. Light pressure instead of " get to the next stop as fast as you can" Also slow down on the open road.. I know, I know. This is not what you want to hear...lol

 

power is awesome but i've also noticed that if you keep only one driver it will be more consistent in saving gas. different drivers will not yeild you good results. my wife has a heavy ass foot LOL

I have a bit more than what I mentioned and I average around 14-15 mpg all city driving and highest I have ever hit all highway driving was 20 mpg and combined driving I get around 15.5-17 mpg. But yes more and improved response for sure.

As for what I gained, I probably gained about 1-2 mpg lol

Price can vary honestly so I would for sure do some research on that.

 

You have a 6.1 and you're worried about saving gas?... :doh:
