I had debated going that route, no reason it wouldn't work. Be sure to snap some shots, it would definitely be helpful to the next guy to see another way to change the lights

man i kinda dissapointed. i bought a nice transparant blue, an i cut a little piece and put it over the guages. it turned it a type of teal color. then i used 2 layers. it looked a little better, but not blue enough. then i tried 3 layers, and it was just to dark. iam guna try to find a blue'er transparent paper and see if it works, changeing the led's would be nice, but jus soooo much work, lol

When i changed everything, it was about 8 hours or so of work which includes getting the voltage readings, calculating resistors, removing the parts, swapping bulbs, and reinstalling. If I were to do it now, I'd probably get it done in half that, it's not as scary as it looks

good luck on changing the lights. i ant to change mine too but i have no experience with that kind stuff but i want to learn. when you get it done post pics please. good luck

think i finally have the balls to finish the project i started back last summer TK, already modified the cluster, now just to change everrrrything to blue

Nice dude, I gotta finish mine up switching everything from red to emerald using a combination of LEDs and lighting gels

yeah, i read that lol, i've been on the charger z for a few days and have seen a few that have changed up the dash color, the blues look pretty good, then i saw all the blue led's they put in everything, convinced me lol...i mean cheap mod, just a **** ton of work to do

well, i just received my roscolux theater gel sample booklet, so gotta test that out to find the right color...also waiting for all my led's and resistors to come in
