Hello Im new to the site but I wanted to make 300 owners aware of the Chrysler fuel tank issue I recently had at the dealership. I recently received a notice from Chrysler stating that they were going to repair the stalling issue with older 300 models. To make a long story short. When I took my car to get repaired they replaced the fuel tank but did not test the fuel tank to make sure the issue was fixed. I took my car home and filled the tank the next day. Later that day I noticed that my car was leaking fuel and their was a pool of fuel on the ground. The dealership told me that Chrysler only authorizes replacing the fuel tank but not fueling the vehicle to see if the repair was completed. If they had filled the tank to check the repair they would have noticed that they had improperly installed the tank. When you have this repair done make sure they fill the tank and test the repair. I believe my life and the life of others was worth a tank of gas.

Also sucks you had to go through that but really appreciate the heads up since I still need to get this done on my 06 SRT8 300 but have been a bit hesitant in case something else goes wrong.
