so i recently did the tune up on my 300c and i didnt notice any change in my gas mileage. im getting about 13.5 mpg (thats city and highway combined) and i dont really get on the petal as much. i used 91 oct gas and no mods and stock tires. is this normal or is there something i can do to get better mpg?

i get an average 22 mpg 350 to 450 miles with a tank full of gas. I don't thing is that bad for a big car like that.
and it all depends on how i drive.
most of the time i have to drive long distance because i live in the middle of now where and up here in Maine there is not much with city driving lol.

My car is modded pretty well and I get 17.3 to 18.1 city and as good as 28 highway. I would say check the pressure in your tires and lower the octane level unless you are running a predator tune your wasting money on the 91 as well as your plugs. I would also start looking around for a Cold air intake and a couple of other minor mods tstat predator they should greatly improve your mileage.

What 1 bad snake said. A good cai aria or airhammer and a predator will improve mileage provided you don't drive it harder because it feels so much better.

Well I feel a lot better about my mpg when I compare to some of yours out there and my predator should be here soon and I do plan getting my cia in the near future along some cut outs so will see how things work out.....thanks for all the help

my wife and I just came back to red deer from a 2000km tour through B.C. the EVIC showed 9.3 litres/100km or 2.045canadian gallons /62.45miles this works out to 30.53 miles/gallon. My 06 300 C is completely stock. 89 oct. Shell only. I set the cruise on the posted speeds, set the climate controll to 22 degrees,cranked the tunes and had a blast.

I wouldn't say you're out of line for mileage. It varies greatly and I'd say you drive a bit more city than highway on an average tank. Also, if you go into auto stick mode for even a little bit of time that can easily guzzle gas. I've went through a 1/4 tank of gas in about 10 minutes using autostick.

my last trip to Reno i hit around 20 mpg @ 65-75 mph. I average about 13 mpg per tank of gas.
I didnt buy this car to save gas...lol. Let the tree huggers reduce their carbon footprint.

/// carbon bigfoot FTW!!!!!1
LMAO carbon bigfoot.

My sister in law is a hippy and i drove her to the store and kept the car in second gear to cancel out all the environmental savings her prius gives her. I'm pretty sure she replanted a forrest, and I only have a 6 banger

Thats on Bronx Streets right Lee? Take it to the highway a bit, youre gonna kill that thing!

My 6.1 is 15-16 combined and 21 on the highway doing 80, I never drive city, I think I did once or twice and hit 12.5 as a low mpg
I do more highway then city driving... I drive everyday from BX to BK and once I get home I drive straight to park and let her sleep. I was getting 8 mpg because I drove autostick all the time and Lee (pukka) said that was the reason so I stopped using it and now I'm at 14 mpg :D
