How would i fix this error code?
P0158 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

If you have headers on you're car that his the cause, otherwise either the rear 02 sensor stopped working, burnt a wire, or you're cat quit working.

No headers, how does one check to see if the cat is working? The check engine light came on and went out a couple of times now. when it comes on the car works the same,no noise/rattle from the cat & no performance issues at all.

Yes, the code is being thrown intermittently,I pulled fuse 11 and the light has not come back on after two days of driving.
EDIT- CEL is back on - same code

I'll crawl under the car to have a look to see if i can find a loose wire.
EDIT- All seems good, they are plugged in and no broke or cut wires.

Is the car safe to drive like this? will it damage anything? Like i said performance wise it still works great.

Sorry if i am reviving an old thread.
But when i do key cycling, i get error code 0058. There is no p or letters or anything it just says 0058. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

MB, more than likely there's a 'P' in front of it. If that's the case, then it's the second o2 sensor on the passenger side. You may need to change it out.

nope ..just says 0058.. i have a 06 300 base model. I agree though about the 02 sensor. Would this cause the car to go faster then normal without touching the gas? It seems like when i put the car in reverse, it goes awfully fast before i even touch the gas. And i am VERRY car illiterate, is changing out an 02 sensor something you recoomend i can do myself?

Thanks for the "dance" and the code list is fantastic. I have it bookmarked for future use. I come from a pre computer generation when eyes, ears, and nose were our main diagnostic tools and we could actually fix problems not just replace parts. I still have the crud under my fingernails to prove it.

hey quiet yeem to know a hell of a lot about trouble codes....maybe you can help me out......my engine light came on took it to the dealer and got the code (p0456)...I was told I have a evap large leak...they said I needed a fuel filler tube the cost is 375.50 way to expensive...what is a fuel filler tube and where can I buy one at a cheaper price?....ps this for a 2012 300 limited rwd 3.6...would appreciate te help thanks....
