What color do I have?!

Hey all,

Not sure is this is the right place to put this so I apologize if this is in the wrong area of the forums.

So I got my car 4 months ago. It was a used Chrysler 300 and the dealer that I got it from said that my car was silver. So, I looked at the colors that came out that year and determined that my car was a Bright Silver Metallic Clearcoat.

Well everything was fine and dandy until yesterday/today when I first ordered my Madeyelids and was going about buying touchup paint. The touchup paint website said to make sure I know what the paint color is and showed me where I can find the actual paint color on the car. So curiously, I went over to my car and it showed that my car is a PP4.

Satin Jade Pearl Clearcoat

What?! :SHOCKED: Is this true? Is this the color here? It looks silver to me, and I don't see many pictures of 300s with the Satin Jade Pearl color. Please let me know if this looks correct to you.

Yeah, that sounds right...

People kept saying that in some cases, with the right light, it had a hint of green. I just shrugged them off and told them to get their eyes checked...

So I guess my car won't have a name like Silverhawk or something.

Satin Hawk? Jade Hawk? Not the same ring to it.

Hey that's the color I have. Yup that's Satin Jade Metallic. Looks a bit like silver depending on what you have it parked by.

easy way to find out. open the drivers door. look for the white sticker on the inside edge. look for the paint code. let us know what it says. should be three letters, like mine id PXR

Yep, mine said PP4. It's just a shock. I looked at the sticker like it was wrong or something. Thought it was bright silver all this time.

It's good to find out now while I'm ordering all the items I want. Don't want someone to paint some stuff for me based on the color I tell them and I find out it doesn't match later on. Imagine if I would have ordered a painted grill or something else?

I'm still happy with my car. LOL.

Satin Jade is an awesome color, especially if it looks like Silver!

they all look like same lol is the paint code sticker only on the inside edge of the door ? that sticker is gone on mine. I know what paint code mine is but just curious
